1.6 GHz P4 processor
256 MB SDRAM
64 MB GeForce2
40 GB HD
Sound card... not too sure, some sort of Soundblaster Live! thingy... think maybe Soundblaster Live! 5.1 or something liek that...
17" monitor
Average speakers... says they're some sort of Platinum JBL series thingies on them...
Some sort of semi-obscure printer that came with the computer, a Canon scanner, Iomega external CD-RW drive, your standard CD-ROM drive, I think 48x or so... *shrug*

AMD Athalon 1.33GHZ
256 MB RAM (upped to 512 next payday)
40GB HDD
Sony CDRW
Creative DVD with decoder card & video out
Ge Force 2 mx 400 w. 64MB
Standard sound, USB, game port, etc.
400 watt case
19 in Dell monitor
Good amplified speakers with subwoofer (a must, or hook up to your stereo)
WebCam (in the mail)
IR remote control with serial receiver (2 cool)
Win 98 SE (Contemplating Win2000, but worried about software compatability)

I desperately want a DVD RW, but the price is prohibitive right now. The drives are about $400 and the media are about $12 each! :yikes:
For those prices, I'll stick with VCD for my needs! Most DVD players play VCD's, but the picture quality sucks! Makes VHS look high speed!
