Here's a question that's been on my mind lately. Lets see if I can describe it eloquently enough that people can understand what I have rolling around in my head.

Take for example a Bishop or say a Ninja. Both of those classes require much more exp per level to raise as compared to say a straight "fighter" class. So much more exp at higher levels and this is where my question comes in:

What happens if you take an 18 Bishop and switch classes to that plain jane "fighter". Since the Bishop would have enough exp to almost be 2 levels ahead of a "fighter" if they had been one from the start, does the character now raise two levels upon switching?

Maybe I can put that better. Say for example your Bishop has 12 million exp, and that puts him/her at level 18 (I don't know for sure, but i'm just tossin out numbers).

Now if you switch to "fighter" and 12 million exp for a standard fighter usually will net you level 20, do you automatically raise two levels when you switch?

I hope I posed that in a way that you can understand. The process of going from my mind into typed word is probably a mess to decipher.

Any ideas?

Nope if you were a level 12 Bishop, your a level 12 Bishop and now a Level 1 Fighter. It will say your a level 12 but if you go to inventory you can click on "class" i think. It will show how many levels you gain at what class.

Example.

My Bard that I changed to Gadgeteer has level 8 bard and level 4 Gadgeteer music 97 engeneering 63.. so lets say an insturment that says: Music level 60 and Bard Level 11 i can't use because his only a level 8 bard even tho i have 97 music and his a level 12.

Not quite the same as the XP question but you can see how the levels work when you change class. You don't get 2 extra levels because a Bishop needs more XP then the Fighter.. you leveled up as a Bishop so you needed that XP to level up... now that your a fighter it will take the amount to level up as a level 12 to 13 fighter.
