Ok, I have resigned that I can't find the Raptor Egg. Could anyone post a map screenshot or something with the area circled for my reference. Either that or give me some real good directions to get to it please...

I also read somewhere that a raptor spawns once you accept the ranger quest, but I can't find it either.

Any help would be appreciated...first time poster

For starters, on the way to the caves of Ishad N´Ha , if you follow the small river to the medium lake in the north (before the toads), keep look ing for a clearing on the left side of the river!
That´s where the ranger-quest spawned raptor should be!
Kill him and get the egg he drops!
If you had a map in your gamepackage, it´s close to the letters "snake river" IMO!
Good luck!

Welcome to the board, LordOgre!!!

Just another descript on the location Yazee mentioned:

Between Nymph Lake and the Oracle Caves to the north, on the west side of the river is an inlet into the forest - Raptors & Eggs! GOOD LUCK!

Hmmm...is that clearing anywhere near where the Paladin statue is? I'm trying to remember game/map from memory, as I'm at work atm...

But thanks for your tips, I'll look when I get home...I'm currently doing the snake temple atm, but my psudo-ranger-wannabe needs to complete his initiation before wasting all the good leveling exp for him in Snake Temple.

One more little question (for those of you reading), any way to get a starting rogue (currently level 8) to Barbarian? He's currently a member of the Rogue guild in Ishad n'ha, and I'm thinking he needs Barbarian to get more hp and rogue skills raises before I take him to ninja or something... any ideas, cause I think you need to get him into the warrior guild somehow to train to Barbarian.

Thanks again for your replies...

Further north than the altar, Lord Ogre. Follow the river northward like you're going to Toad Village. There will be a clearing on the west (left) side of the river. When you enter it, you'll be charged by a raptor. Kill it and it'll drop an egg. There should be another egg behind it in a nest (you only need one, though).

Cheers,

Hi LordOgre!
Concerning your question about switching from Rouge to Barbarian. I think that it is possible to do that via the Thieves' Guild in Ishad N'ha. But it is definitely possible through the Warriors'. However to be eligible for that you'll have to have at least the following stats:

STR 12
DEX 8
AGI 8
FOR 12
PRE 8

Remember that it is good to join as many guilds as possible to maximise training opportunities.
