I was just wondering what everyones best RPG was.
Persionally I think Planescape : Torment is by far the best. And is Wizards and Warriors worth buying? |

I played through Wizards & Warriors twice. It was one of my favorite CRPGs.
As long as you don't mind party based, first person perspective, turn-based computer roleplaying games, you might like it. Mark (EDIT) It was the game that drew me toward the IW Forums. There is a great forum just for W&W. Check it out if you haven't all ready. [ 08-01-2002, 06:39 PM: Message edited by: skywalker ] |

PLanescape is the best on the first run through, but for replaying BG2 is far less linear, and if you do BG1 as well far longer.

Hmm... of those I've played, I'd have to say I like BG2 the most, by a fairly large margin. Morrowind is also an extremely fun game. Never played PS:T or W&W *shrug*

My fondest memories are of the Might & Magic games Clouds of Xeen, Darkside of Xeen and The Mandate of Heaven. Ultima Underworld I: The Stygian Abyss and Ultima Underworld II: Labyrinth of Worlds are truly excellent games too.

I think The Fallout Series (1 and 2) are the two best RPGs I have ever played. And I have played most of the RPGs mentioned here.

I have played BG 2 and ToB, and I am currently playing BG 1. I have played Fallout 2 and tactics though I still think Torment is best though Baldur's Gate 2 is a close contender. Does any one know of any other games that come close to Baldur's Gate cept for IWD cos that is too hack n' slash for me

Wasteland was a fantastic crpg, it was sort of a pre-quel to the Fallout serious.
