Thank you Sazerac your idea was the first I used and it turned out to be a fail so I checked my hospital records like rjsith said to he wasn't it because that was who my mom was married to and then I tried sageridder's Idea to check State prison records but it turned out he was in a county jail. So I came up with my own to check my mom's cell phone records when it turned out to be a fail a rare thing called and asked for my mom and I said can I take a message and he asked who is it and I told it and said its your father ROBERT EBERT.
That was an odd ending for me. ------------------ |

WOW!!! That's really astounding! Must have been fate that you were so dilegently looking and happened to answer his call to your Mom after all these years! I'm glad your search was successful and good luck to you and your father during this time you are trying to get to know each other.

Call Oprah, I'm sure she would love this story (I'm not a big fan but my wife FORCED me to watch one of her many family reunion shows)
