Does anyone else get these? The other day my muscles had the time of their lives... I was playing golf, and my tricep started to spasm, slowly, at about the rate that you breathe... then my eyelid started twitching rapidly - do you know how hard it is to hit a tiny white ball when your eyelid has started to behave like a video camera diaphragm... then I came home and was fortuanate enough to be in front of the mirror when the back of ear started twitching... exceedingly comical... must have been an electric shockwave going round or something.
Just wondered if anybody else experiences this kinda stuff

I think we had this up for discussion some time ago. Probably just an adrenaline burst. Beta-agonists cause muscle spasms, and adrenalien is one. If you use asthma medicine, muscle spasms is a common side effect. Nothing to worry about.

Er...I brought this up, in the discussion that Willow mentioned. Mine was in my leg and pretty serious, as well as icredibly embarrassing.

Only happened when I threw my first and only "whitey".
My back went mental, while I was lying on the street in the rain being sick whilst screaming "I'm gonna die". Lookin back it was funny, but at the time I wasn't too keen on it!

Every now and then I get them for no apparent reason, and all over the place too. You'd think i'd just get one and that would be it, but no...

I had a similar experience after eating a magic birthday cake. (I was wondering why nobody else wanted any!)

Fatigued muscles can spasm easily. Especially if you're low on electrolytes and/or dehydrated. I've gotten them in the military before. Both times, it was after a long (hours)exposure to exertion and high temperatures. I drank plenty of water, but it was warm water. My temperature was elevated and I was low on electrolytes. Gatorade, a salty snack, and rest cured them both times.
