Hrrmmm...

I think it´d help if you told us how you are using those characters:

Is charname an archer or a melee tanker?
Is Mazzy an... - || -

However.
As i imagine Keldorn is wielding two-handers as his primary func...
Erm, no...
Charname has Carsomyr, aye?
And Keldorn is also an Two Hander guy?
So is Sarevok... I wonder if you can find enough good weapons for 3x 2HSword swingers...

Ok.

Charname is basically a tank, but he switches between Crom Faeyr and the Flail of Ages. Also uses various swords such as the Dragonslayer when needed.

Mazzy is now a pure tank. She used to be an archer, but after losing her strength (item needed for Crom Faeyr), she lost the best bow. Her Grand Mastery in short swords is working well.

Keldorn wields Carsomyr. Only because he has a better two handed sword rating than Charname. Used as a tank, dispelling magic etc.

Anomen has Grand Mastery in maces, but usually stays back and casts his spells. But can go forward.

As do Imoen and Aerie.

If it were me, with my own prejudices and ideas, I'd drop Mazzy. Sarevok is more interesting and he comes able to use arguably the most powerful weapon in Throne of Bhaal, a halberd which you can get quite early.

For me it depends upon whether or not I have Watcher's Keep left. If I do, then I don't mind taking Sarevok along. I think his character is cool and interesting, but I do not have enough time to see it in the TOB parts without WK. If you've done WK, I would not take him. If you haven't, I would drop Mazzy or Aerie.

I'd drop Keldorn. Short swords are great, and you don't need another 2-hander. I'd miss Keldorn's True Sight, but that's about it.

Well I've completed WK, but I'm still really not sure who to drop.

I think I will take him.....I'm gonna have to drop Keldorn. I've got invisibility purge with Anomen & Aerie, and they also have dispel magic.

Just gonna have to get Charname proficient in two handed swords!!!

A Paladin might accept Sarevok into the group because it says an awful lot about your purity and strength of character if you are able to convert a powerful force of Evil into following the cause of the just and righteous. And I don't know if mercy is one of the major virtues of a Paladin, but there's something to be said for forgiving your worst enemy, too.

A Paladin might refuse Sarevok because he obviously cannot be trusted: If you paid attention in BG1, you learned that he could betray his closest friends & allies at slight provocation, and if you were of no more use to him, he'd run you through just on a whim. (Winski Perorate, anyone?) There is also the fact that trying to start a war merely for the sake of a war deserves a greater punishment than a single death penalty.
By the time you get to the pocket plane, where you can take him as a party member, he's already had two death penalties.

Actually, he's only had one. Killing his shadow doesn't count as killing him.

Careful here. Invisibility purge isn't what you need - it won't get rid of mislead, project image and so on. In TOB you absolutely have to have True Sight/True Seeing. Don't bother with invisibility purge.

And no-one can dispel magic like an Inquisitor. Dispel Magic is definitely not as important as true sight, but it's still handy. Aerie is too low a level to dispel much of anything, and even with Anomen you'll be taking your chances.

However, when you get a chance to ressurect him, you get a dialogue option saying that battle number 3 can start anytime, so watch out (something along those lines). It counts in some sense
