I've played BG2 through a couple of times, always with the difficulty setting in the middle. I'm now thinking about setting it higher, but I worried that it will just make the game frustrating. Have any of you guys tried this yet?

Sorry, I haven't. I have a very LOW frustration threshold.

I played the game through with the slider closer to the left then the center and that was difficult and frustrating in spots for me. I have no idea how people play solo without going crazy. Sorry cant help.

OK, Tom. How? What's the secret? Did you use cheats or cap removers? If you did play it straight and beat the game on Insane, I'm impressed.

The game's hard enough on normal with a full adventuring party...Soloing on Insane!? Are you INSANE? I wouldn't make it past the Vampires let alone a Dragon (can't even do that now).
