i don't know, sometimes they do, i think it is also due to traffic to the thread, that is it is less likely for someone to return to a thread once they have read it once unless they notice a drastic increase in post count or something.
You know what i would really like? A thing when in genral discussion view (for example) shows the name of the person who was last to post, like it does on the forum view page, i think that would improve the "last post syndrome" because people could easily see who was the last to post, especially if they have posted something and are awaiting a reply, meh just an idea. |

My opinion is out there, if someone chooses not to reply to it based on the content, at least they read it!
There was a thread dedicated to this WAY way back, there was a name given to a person who had a knack of "killing" off threads. "Thread slayer" if I recall correctly. I like the sound of it personally. Lol @ Melusine btw! |
