The time has come, the Donut said, to talk of many things
Of offsides and of penalties and crosses from the wings
And why the Aussies, Scots and Dutch
Will not be watching very much!

But ‘wait a bit’ the Aussies cried, we nearly made it to the party
But Harry Kewell lost his form and we went ‘all arty farty’
We did our best, we had a try,
Bollocks to you Uruguay.

The Orange horde are staying home, there is no need to pack
Jimmy, Ruud, Marc and Jaap, they’ll all be staying back
But Holland’s there, all dressed in green
He plays for Ireland, not like Keane!

Of course the Scots will not be there, my pity’s with you Jocks
But never mind, at least this year, you’ll nae be laughing stocks
I know you’ll cheer the English on, I can almost hear your screams
Not really, see I know for sure, you’re supporting 31 teams

But if your country’s made it there, then all it really needs
Is to join with me, and say a prayer, that we beat the bloody Swedes
Then all is set for Friday week, we’ll laugh just like a hyena
The ‘hand of God’ will be revenged, don’t cry for me Argentina

pure poetry dude, but stop reminding me holland isn't there. They really belong at the highest platform with the kind of players we have. There's a lot of teams there who won't stand a chance of making it to the second round, team usa for example. Holland played them last week in boston and won easily with 2-0. And what about china ? They played psv a couple of days ago and lost 1-0. Some teams simply don't belong there.
