That was brilliant as usual, my dear Donut, but maybe I should take up my duties of Official Subtitler (in the true meaning of the word) of the Donut-Oh-Seven Posts again - it seems a lot of people these days require their subtleties to be subtitled.
Oh and Hugh, I do agree on the cello thing! One of the projects we did with the choir had an accompaniment of a small orchestra consisting of a marimba, two oboes and two clarinets, a contrabas and three girls playing cellos. It looked kinda cool And if I could choose any instrument to play, it would be the cello. Another thing I always love is the percussion in modern classical orchestras... that would be cool to do as well [ 01-08-2003, 10:55 AM: Message edited by: Melusine ]

What's the difference between a snake and a cellist?
The snake has probably got a gig.

Mel you're talking right up my ally! My fav orchestral percussion instrument is the timpani (kettle drums). Supports the score both rythmically and tonically. And forgive me for saying, just real ballsy sometimes!
[NOTE TO SELF: I miss playing ....]

I've always wanted to play hatchet for Molly Axe! Or is that axe for Molly Hatchet? I can never remember!

I think the only instrument I'd really get into playing would be keyboards. I used to play trumpet (high school), but it didn't really turn my crank too much.

Currently, I wouldn't mind being able to squeeze a melody out of a harp. I doubt I ever will though, not only don't I have musician's genes (noone in my family plays anything), but I happen to be lefthanded as well.
