Since I just had my last topic moved, I would like to say I would have posted it in the right forum IF I had of seen the proper forum after logging in.

However there is a big difference between clicking the "Ironworks Gaming" and the "Ironworks Gaming Forum" buttons

the first button leads you to... h.ttp://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi

the second one to h.ttp://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?category=1

I had the second button marked in my favorites so a good third of all the forums available were invisable to me when I logged in (I just fixed that problem)so I asked a Divine Divinty question here in GC because I didn't see the Miscellaneous CRPG Games forum.

So I quess what my long winded question is... Why is there a need for the two buttons? It is rather confusing

I did the same thing

and it took me ages to find the war debate forum. Thankfully Ziroc does not have a minimum IQ entry test or I would have been stuffed

There are six different 'Categories' that the forums fall under...
Ironworks Gaming Forums, Ironworks Online Roleplaying, America at War, and Ironworks Classics, Webmaster & Moderators, Our Archives.
The second button is the category that the forum you`re on now falls under. The way UBB works is to give the full path to the page you`re viewing:
Website Name - Category Name - Forum Name - Thread Name - Current Action
Eg, in the roleplay forum, when you`re replying to a thread:
Ironworks Gaming >> Ironworks Online Roleplaying >> Ironworks Online Roleplaying >> {threadname} >> Post a Reply.

It is impossible in any forum software to create a forum which is not in a category... so, basically, there`s no way for Z to remove that link. Just remember that the far left is the 'earliest' page.
