Free Image Hosting?

Does anyone know of anywhere which still hosts images for free? The one I was using has recently shut down, as have many others, and most charge money now

If you do have any suggestions, please do post them here, with a link, thankyou [img]smile.gif[/img]

I know what you mean, I searched for such a thing for an age after Ranchoweb stopped free accounts, but I couldn't find such a thing.

However, rather than use a specially image-orientated provider, you can just use a free web sapce host that allows linking of pictures uploaded.
Normally when I reccomend free web hosts I do it based upon uploading method, whether or not they have adverts, how large etc. but if you are merely wishing to use one for images, then any will do.

Graffiti This one's pretty good, 20 megs space, uploading done through browser and no adverts.

You're talking about ranchoweb aren't you. I was with them until the inevitable. If you want one that's free, check out boomspeed.com.

Actually no, I didn't use ranchoweb, although by the time my image hoster (zeetec.net) c losed, ranchoweb was no longer available for me to join instead

Starting today Ranchoweb is no longer hosting any *edit* of MY sigs for anywhere on earth...

On a bright side: www.tripod.lycos.co.uk is very much available. 50 Megs free

Where did you hear about that? I have a RanchoWeb account (pay for it) and I see nothing in their news bulletin that says no more sigs anywhere on earth. No news at all dated today. My sigs are still working as well.

Well, you should have recieved a mail from them with the title: "RANCHOWEB.COM Deadline Looms! (username)". In it, it says:

So if your sigs are still working, then it is probably only because ranchoweb haven't reached your account yet. It will probably be deleted within the next few days, though.

Well it sounds to me like they are talking about those who have free accounts. They allowed the free accounts to remain for a short time, to give everyone a chance to upgrade (meaning pay I reckon). I upgraded, so that's probably why I haven't gotten that email, and so I'm good

I also "upgraded" my RanchoWeb account, LadyZekke! And my sigs (along with a couple of others I host) are working just fine.

Lord Higheater - I'll gladly host your sig pic if you wish (since I've already paid for the RanchoWeb upgrade). Just let me know.
