1. Does your friends PC, have problems with any other games...or...CD's???

2. Does your game disc, still work in your PC????

I tried W&W to my old computer and it says something CD-Rom read failure...
It helped when I downloaded new drivers to my CD-Rom.

Here´s somethings to check:
 1. Make sure you´ve got 32-bit drivers for your CD
 2. Make sure the drive letters are correct
 3. Check if the location for playing CD music is correct
 4. Make sure your system can play audio CDs
 1. Right click my computer select properties. Click on the performance tab and look for the line that says filesystem and make sure it says 32-bit. If it´s not contact your CD-R supplier for the correct drivers.
 2. Right click my computer and select properties. Select the device manager tab and click on the plus sign next to the CD-ROM entry. Double click on the CD-Rom drive and click the settings tab. Make sure that the start and the end drive letters are set to the correct ones for your CD-ROM drive.
 3. Click Start-->settings>>control panel. Double click the multimedia icon. Click in the CD music tab. Make sure the assigned drive is the one your trying to play W&W from.
 4. Insert any audio CD into your CD-ROM. If the CD doesn´t automatically start playing, click start-->programs-->accessories-->entertainment-->Windows Media Player. Try to play the CD. If the CD dowesn´t start playing you need to fix this. Try downloading the latest version of wmp.

Hey, your dragonship, isn't this in the Technical Answers thread? If not (and I didn't see it with a quick look, which may be because I'm starving), perhaps it's time to add it.

Hmm, no this one isn´t in the tech thread... I´ll put this in the "Pregame Issues" category, that´s yours Bungleau. Here´s what I´ll do. I´ll put the new html and add it on my tripod account for you to download and edit in . I´ll pm the URL to you tomorrow

Added a note to the index about "missing entries". Will that do?

Sounds good. I'll be looking for it tomorrow night.

Until then...
