I always liked writing, but I often start something that I really like, and then get sort of bored with it. I know that you have to fill in the gaps in a story - it can't just be all action, but I often find it a little difficult, especially if I already know the ultimate purpose of the story...

Echo that Sylent..
I´m in a dilemma in my story. I have to do some filling out but well almost lost appetite for it. I have an idea but I don´t know wether I will be able to pull it off. My story needs more background, like a start or something. I laso have to divide up the main focus to different places and characters and still get some kind of flow into it.. Grrr...
i hate i don´t know more....

I guess a really good thing to do would be this:
Write out a plan of your story before you start, including things such as, major characters, general storyline, major changes, beginning, ending, and also some kind of side story ideas.
My main problem is that I usually start off with no idea what my story is going to end like. If I had a plan, I could refer to that, and I would know what I wanted to do, rather than losing interest, and forgetting all about it.
I do wonder how professional writers do it. I really would like to read a bit more, but I don't think I manage my time very well a lot of the time.

Anyway, its great to have our little discussion!

yep it is good to have this talk and i for one think its great wolfgir is hosting stories. this story im presently on is the only one ive really planned out. i wrote a lot of side notes as i went along and basically know the whole storyline so i can just enlarge it as i go along and add in bits here and there. but i think we should all keep going.
