Question Mark

hehehe Well, we're back, Featherstone, so you can get all the help you need now!!

-----

I don't always make all my ornaments. I have a rather eclectic collection of ornaments, old and new, handmade and not. I have been making ornaments like those pictured for about 10 years or so, most of which have been given away. Some years I was lucky if I managed to keep one for myself. The one's pictured are made with - 4" styrofoam balls (closed cell, if you know what that means), paper napkins or tissue paper, 3D fabric paint (the type that comes in squeeze bottles with the fine tips (all the rage in crafts about 7 years ago but not now so harder to come by)), modge-podge, various other things and a lot of time. I fill up the negative areas with thousands of dots of fabric paint, thousands and thousands (and thousands)!

The ornaments on the right were made with napkins that I got at Hallmark. Unfortunatly, last time I checked, they no longer sell that design so I've been looking for other alternatives and found a few that are nice and some that looked like they had potential but really didn't work out that way.

Speaking of which - it is time for me to get back to making dots, thousands and thousands of tiny dots.

WOW Wyvern! I can really see those ' tiny dots ' and can only imagine how long it takes and who accurated work it is!

Can't think any better gift than something you have made your own.
I got woolen socks from my girlfriend, she had made those by her self and had 'written' our names to them! They really keeps your feet warm in here snowy country and that warms them even more when you know that someone has think of you when made those...

So when I look your creations I'm sure who'll got one for gift, are really pleaced!

Hmmm... have any left for sold?

Handmade gifts are always very special!! Those socks your girlfriend made sound super!

I never end up with extras of the ornaments to sell. They all find homes and I'm always in a race to get enough made. One of BJ's teachers wants to commission me to make ornaments for her but I would probably have to turn it down. For the amount of time I put into them I would have to ask too much. Fortunately for that teacher, she has been getting them for 7 years so far and when I happen to have an extra one on hand, I give that one to her as well. I think they are better as a gift of thanks than as something from which to make money!
