War Hammer definitely!!! Short sword sucks... Just think about Crom Faeyr!!!!!

------------------
In the foul darkness one figure will emerge to save the world from evil and despair.... Light flashes as his sword comes down, and thunder rolls through the sky when he points his sword up to heaven to signal his victory....People whisper his name as he walks by, evil tries to hide as they sense his presence nearby.... His name? Link......

Yeah. Though I never used Crom Faeyr, cause noone in my party can handle it(and all other war hammers in the game suck). But it seems I can never become familiar with short swords, they don´t do enough damage.

Please also see my post on the 'dagger vs mace' thread.
You can't backstab with a war hammer, so in some situations a short sword is better.

Four words - too late in game . Try killing a stone golem with a "regular" magical war hammer; it takes a +2 *impaling* weapon at least. I'm not saying I disagree with the pro-war hammer crowd here, but one should not choose between the two based on the "Uberhammer".
