Gidday,

I have a character in the warriors guild at level 4 and have just got the dragon arrow to give torrin. I am thinking of going straight to the stout mines (after doing about half of shuregons castle) so I can get to level 5 at the warriors guild and get the fletchery skill and make some money with the dragon arrow. Good plan?? can I replicate the dragon arrow before giving it to torrin?
does it matter at all if i do the stout mines before the boogre prison?

cheers

Nutman,

The order doesn't matter, and yes, you can copy the dragon arrow once you hav fletchery. And since you can buy the arrow back from Torin after you give it to him (or steal it, for those on the other side of things), you don't have to delay this quest until you have fletchery.

In my current game, I did the stout mines after Torin and before the boogre caves. No impact on the game, although you can't get level 5 warrior until you do (or at least start) the stout mines. If you had the presence of mind to get moon magic earlier, those teleports probably saved you a lot of time.

Thanks Bungleau, yes I have the moon spells create portal and teleport. Is it worth another character getting both these spells – if a different character cast their own portals can you have two portals??

Cheers

One word of caution....

...Torin will only accept a dragon arrow, in it's original state. Do Not bless or enchant, the arrow....before giving it to Torin.
After you duplicate the original arrow....use the DIV feature, to seperate 1 for Torin. Then you can bless/enchant the rest....and 'Fletch' until your pockets swell.

Don't know how to use multiple portals, but if you cast another portal by seacond character, when you use teleport, it moves you to the last casted portal. So it's not use to another person to learn create portal.

Tought there's some hints in other post, where to cast portals so you can use several portals at the same time and then it's nice to have two character with create portal and teleport spell.

As I said I don't know where to create thease portals, but seek out old post for creating portals and teleport. They might reweal some information to you.

The rule for portals is one portal per caster per map. So if the same caster casts create portal on multiple characters, only the last one "sticks".

If instead you have three characters cast create portal on three different characters, you now have three portals.

My general rule is that each caster casts portal on him or herself. That way, I don't have to worry about blowing away a portal I meant to keep. The only trick is to remember who has what portal; I try to keep them consistent (character A always has the current spot in the adventure, for example) as much as possible.

Yes that enlightened me enough! Thanks Bungleau!

I presume that different maps means inner maps, like dungeons and caves.
I didn't been abled to get two portals in basic map, even caster was different person and it casted it to her self.
I tried to create portal in Ishad' Nha and Valeia ( outside ofcource )
But only last one managed to work...

Tought, portal in Dragons Spire's out door, just little inside that cave and the climb, portal stays.

If you make several portals use your map and create poll (little flag) for portal and write it who created it and onto who... etc. Now it's more easy to figureout where or what did that portal do...

I must try to cast portal by different person to it self.
Main problem was (perhaps) why I was unable to create portals near Valeia And Ishad's Nha, was that I cast one portal to one person and seacond to another person, but caster was same...

Your rule Bungleau was great ( "each caster casts portal on him or herself.." )
Think if there's 10 basic rules for game, this might be in list after Save often... Save before doing something, that your not certain what it does...

If someone has creativly time...
You might seacrh basic rules for game...
To those who start playing W&W...
Things that you know only by playing game and learn at the hard way.
Something that makes you game more fun, not to save and reload games all the time... Not spoilers but 10 biggest hints... or something.
