I had an idea for a great way to get new games rolling. This thread can be devoted to people who want to make a new game, get ideas, or sign up to play something.
The following is an example of what we could see on this thread: Game idea: Star Wars themed Coordinator: Currently unassigned Total members allowed: Currently unknown When Game is to begin: Currently unknown What I have just did here is make a game that can be taken over by a coordinator, who in turn will receive a list of desirous players, and will decide when the game will begin. This idea is free for whoever wants to handle it. Well, maybe you don't wanna use a story from this database. Fine. Post your name and the title of your story here, and ask for members to join. Give a synopsis of what the story will involve and what characters you want. Are you a new member to our forum and are looking for an easy way to get into the action? This is where you would start looking, to be able to get in a story at its creation, so you would not have to read hundreds of threads to catch up to an existing story. By using this thread as our one thread of creating new games, we will eliminate stray threads that never get visited and is a one-stop-shop for new stories on the horizon. If you have any more suggestions...feel free to post them. |

im still developing my first story. its about a thief who wants to pull one last job before he retires, but its a dangerous job so he needs to get some theif companions, but there are bounty hunters looking for him, as well as the guardsmen of the king he is planning to rob, and the local theives guild because they think he is moving in on their territory. Hes got a lot of enemies so he needs to be careful. right now my character Joram has 3 allies and there is one person acting as a bounty hunter. i could use some thieves guild people and town guardsmen and more bounty hunters or thief allies would be helpful as well. i would like to develop a lot of twists and turn in the plot lots of double crossing and plotting. im trying to make it a very good story. i am open to all who want to join please pm me or cleverly write yourself into the story. thanks to all those who join )

This should be made into a sticky, regardless. ^_^
Ok, I have an idea for a story, but I'm afraid that if I do it, my laziness will get in the way and no one will participate, lol. anywayz, I was thinking of angels vs vampyres vs humans. and the cliche line would be "The balance of these three worlds lie in your hand. Any action you take could be for or against one of them- whether purposely or not." or something like that. People get to make a character that can be a vampyre, human, or angel (maybe even a mix ^.^) and decide what their character does. They could go for total destruction of a race, or try to save all three, or just try to live normally. I dunno what time period it could take place in.. maybe present. Anywhoo, just an idea. ^_^ hope somebody decides to work with it and make it into a story thread. ^_^ I'd join it, definately.

Hi, Larry, I am going to start a new adventure set in the Planes. Anyone welcome for the first few days, but then it'll be closed.

I'd love to mention that I've started this thread a couple months ago about a crazy hodge-podge RPG in which you just come in and continue or add to the story in whatever way you like, so long as it is (preferably) funny and involves (preferably) well-known characters from some movies, books etc. But it seems nobody's interested...

Sometimes games take time to develop, or the few users that frequent this place are involved in more games already than they can even contribute to...so sure, not everybody's thread will take off like a rocket. There are also cliques in this forum. The same people usually tend to follow one another into new games. All I can suggest is try to make personal invitations. PM or e-mail the ones you would like to game with, exlpain the game, and as them to either accept or decline within a time limit. It's worth a shot if nothing else is working for you.

Lol!
Actually, some of my family are witches it dates back far into history! I have stories that you would not believe, ...especially of events in Mexico, where there are a large number of powerful ones...but this is not the place to discuss it. Good luck with your game adventure. |
