I'd have to say that it all depends. I picked dual weapons cuz it's what my character right now uses. Shields can be great tho'. Yummmmmmm. Armor Class.

depends on how I'm playing I guess... and how angry I am... if I'm really mad, I'll throw caution to the wind, and give an all out attack, either with my Dual Katanas, or my 2 bladed weapon... otherwise, I'll just go for my longsword (from candlekeep) and my Darksteel sheild.

I don't have any feats in dual-wield(?)

Depends (you didn't give that option on the poll).

I'm playing a cleric right now, so it only makes sense to use a shield. However, if I am playing a character that I envision as dual-wielding longswords, then I will dual-wield. Rangers are built for dualwielding; clerics, druids, and (especially) wizards and sorcerers are not. How I envision my character and his development determines what I use (shields are awesome in this game, though).
