New Building Made for City I'm building for Cartoon
Here is the Holiday Inn building I have added to the 3D City I am creating. This took about a Month on and off light work.. 40 hours or so total. 34000 polygons.
I am building the city to use as the town I will be creating stories in for my Comic book series 'Durty Bug' (yes, with a u) , and I'll drop the characters in an area where the scene requires, render it out, and add the text in post prod. I am building real buildings. most are of my architectural design, so are not.. but I am creating the entire city myself. No add-in Models. I have many other buildings done as well--I'll post some soon! This Holiday Inn was rendered before I got to redo the sign, and add a few tweaks and details, but here ya go! |

Damn Z that's impressive. Don't usually frequent these forums but it caught my eye and I'm glad I looked. Post some more?

Working on the stand away sign--and I decided to go with the AWESOME classic sign from the 50's. This sign was so cool looking--I remember seeing it every time we went down the road in Louisville when I was young (1972-1989 it was there).. It has so much more class than the new, simple flat lit sign. Compare: Will post some renders of the sign next! |

Here is the building dropped into the city--this area isn't finished--I drop the building in, then finish off the surrounding area, its easier.

Awesome, got a sort of TF2-style to it.
