I have been playing the game for a few months, without having any
on-line server. just completely single mono. Now today I have signed up with earthlink, and i am on line able again!. NOW wizardry8 will not run. I click on the 8 short cut, the sirteck banner comes up then go's away, then nothing.... I have allready completely dumped and then reinstalled wizzy8 and still nothing... |

Have you considered running "defragmenter, and scan disc" on the drive, or drives affected by the reinstall of the game and Earthlink?

Ok for all those who can help.
I have re-uninstalled w8, I defragged, I re-re-installed w8, I re-defragged. now after clicking on the 8 icon, the sirtech banner comes up, then gos away, then after some 30 seconds the 8 icon stops being highlited. when uninstalling i did not get rid of shared files. |

I had problems too. The ONLY way I can launch the game is
to use disk 3. I slip it in the drive and double click my desktop shortcut. Helix |

now I have found that there is a major unsolved problem.
this problem/my problem is something that the sirtech home web page tech support people do not want to talk about. the techies are passing the blame... oh that must be a earthlink mess up. |
