I have an interesting Main question: Does W&W allow you to split teams eg. 3 or 4 go to Old Millhouse & finish Temple 2 quest which they haven't done while a couple of others in a six man party go separatly & finish the Armory 2 quest and save under a different game. They all go back to Valeia Inn and all reunite & save game together after getting the recognition for completing the quests. First is this possible? Second what would the Team map show & would it depend on the leader?? The reason is I have 4 good beginning warriors 2 gd Wiz and 2 good priests. Now I would be happy with an 8 man team but know that's impossible. A 3rd possible question could all of these advance to at least Lv3 in all guilds in Valeia even if some of the guild lvl wiz quests seem to be the "all at once" type(eg Sword of Mastus quest & Orb of Clarity)? I am playing patched & wonder if I can buy back the sword & give it again to the Armory guy or the Orb with the wiz guild guy & do it that way??)

No, it is not exactly possible that way. You can leave one or more characters at the inn, complete a quest, and then return to the inn and exchange your current party characters with the others left at the inn, and then embark on another quest. But you can only have one party in the field at a time, and that party will be the one exploring the map.
The quest items you deliver cannot be purchased back. You can, as you have probably read elsewhere, keep the quest items by handing them over to a different character, but only if you are playing unpatched. [ 05-15-2004, 09:26 AM: Message edited by: bsftcs ]

It's an interesting thought... I think MM2 or MM3 had something like that, where you had to have a party composed of just one class for specific quests. Made it kind of challenging
W&W doesn't do that, though. Once a quest has been completed, it's done. Some quests can be done multiple times (like giving a potion to Mekdawa, donating, or the serpin coins). Others, particularly those that involve killing an NPC or retrieving an object, can typically be done only once unless you reset the entire game. If you really like those characters, save 'em. After you've completed the game once, you can bring 'em out for the second run. It will be a lot of fun (he says on his ninth or tenth game).

That is a very creative thought but is not intirely possible in this game.
You may keep some people in the inn, but you cannot do two different things at once. |
