I have mixed opinions of this series.
The report reads that it is an introductory series for new-comers to Forgotten Realms, so that you do not need a history lesson to understand it. At the same time, they will cover new areas of Faerun, previously mentioned in other novels, but never visited. I am wondering if I care to purchase them... The authors I believe, are new to the Realms, so I do not trust their knowledge of a world that I hold dear to my heart. When I was a kid, I collected a series called Fighting Fantasy (by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone). I gave up after book 32...

Larry-- City of Ravens is a GREAT Book!! Seriously! And I am on the second book, Temple Hill, and it's also really good.. I didn't even know they existed (these cities) until I bought the books.. But trust me, they are really good!! ------------------ Ziroc™ Ironworks Webmaster www.tgeweb.com/ironworks |
