Shame on you Willow!!!

Mind you I know what you mean! That Thierry Henry is well fit!

Now for a real man, you want a rugby player. Sensitive and subtle, with that bit of brawn that a girl finds so reassuring on those long, cold winter nights.

It's outrageous! to watch what?? There's no excitement, no suspense, never any doubt about who will win! totally dominate and demoralise the opposition and then what? Nothing! Nada! not letting the other side get a touch! The only way around it that I can see is to let the other team have their own ball. Unbeaten at home for over 10 years! What fun is that? Where are the halcyon days of ALAN BORDER when we would grind out a 1-0 against teams that had played better than us?

I never thought that watching Arsenal could be like watching Aussie cricket

More problems!

People that were formerly happy to discuss football with me are now ignoring me!

Spurs supporters avoid eye-contact.
Man U supporters duck down side streets when they see me coming.
Chelsea supporters bluntly tell me thay "ain't interested in football".
Liverpool supporters tell me "it's only a game"

Being a totally dominant team has so many drawbacks! I wish we weren't so superb.

I know what you mean Donut - the office block I call home has (as most seem to do) its token Manx U fan. The guy just ducks his head and waves me feebly away when I try to catch his eye after each routine weekend outing by the Arsenal. I can almost feel pity for him (well if he wasn't Manx U I might ), hoping that he manages just one telling blow before the season is out.

I nearly choked (in delight) on my morning coffee last Wednesday morning when his wife was giving him updates over the phone of the Porto game - she was home watching the SBS (2 hour) delayed coverage. It was 5 mins to go and he was feeling very happy when he spotted me smirking in the corridor - you could just watch the ripples of despair wash over his face .

Brilliant Davros!! Me and Lanesra were on the phone laughing about them! At the game on wednesday the favourite song was "are you watching Manchester?"
