My PC's monitor setup often hurts my eyes. I'm having trouble of manipulating the best combination. Could you please tell me your monitor setup, like the contrast and brightness?Thx!

well..this may be a last resort but you may need to replace your monitor. i had to do that once because it actually went bad! it got so hard on the eyes i avoided the computer!

My monitor is physically OK. It just needs some changes on its contrast and brightness. As I stated in my post, I'm having trouble choosing the best combination of it. Could you please tell me yours? Thx for the reply.

my moniter did that and me and my friends blew it up for a school project in video production 1 my neighbors got so angry. But with bottle rockets and firecrackers who can resist?

well, just tweak around the thing and eventually you'll find a right one.

btw, your font color really eat my eyes. very hard to look on them.

Sorry Kakero, try increasing your monitor's contrast option . It should look OK.

Screen filter? I heard they block out the radiation coming out from the monitor. don't know whether it's true or not.
