By chance are any of you fellow IW's a Lowes employee? Or know of where one might find their salary scale? It seems this is highly classified information.

If so, mainly then what would the Lowes salary rating S 10 scale look like?

One of my friends was a Lowes employee, a lowest-tier grunt worker, and I think he made around $8 per hour, in Pikeville.

Hey.

I have no idea who Lowes is, but you could try going ot a recruitment agency and asking if they know the range of the position you are after.

Lowes is a big home improvement chain here. They have just about run every dedicated hardware/lumber/nursery store out of town. You can buy just about anything from A/C units, to Zinnias there. Apparently their pay scale is secretive information, and may or may not be inline with current market, but rather relies upon the skills of the applicant and the needs of the store. This is the dillema that I have found myself in.
As a DOD contractor, I'm getting frustrated with June. That is when our contract is up for renewal. We have a five year lock-in, with annual reviews. While last year was needs of the Army. This year it's needs of financial justification. Next year?

Same contract spot I'm in Felix, luckily for us at least we're rather mission critical if they want a mission at this location. As for Lowes, I couldn't say.

I hate those huge mega store type things, we have had this AWFUL place called "The Warehouse" for ages that just sells cheap crap. Now everything is getting huge - and yeah, all the little guys get shafted.

If it is such a big company, the pay is probably crap. I mean, you are just employee number 1,450,467, and there are thousands more potential employees around.

However, you dont sound like some 15 year old looking for a weekend job, so hopefully it is better higher up!
