Just to remind everyone out there of this virus potential. I know a lot of us use MSN to converse. Basically, DO NOT download anything on MSN right now, do NOT hit ANY "Accept" button of any kind. I hailed Tobbin about 15 minutes ago. Had read about this virus earlier on this forum, don't remember the thread, or who made it, but I'm damn glad I read it. Another reason that Ironworks is so valuable! Anyway, again, I hailed Tobbin, and right off, it says "Tobbin Says: Hey, do you want to see a new pic of me?". Well, I reply "sure I'd love to see a new pic, but not here on MSN, cause there is a problem with contracting viruses when downloading stuff on MSN,...", then I get "Tobbin Says: What? I didn't say anything about pics" (even though bear in mind he does not see these messages I am seeing, they don't show up on his end, he is only going by my reply), so I already got a feeling something Evil may be about, and then the download pops up, Saying "Tobbin" is sending you an exe file, or some such. I, because of what I read earlier on IW's, now know this is a lie, and I'm literally looking a virus in its ugly face with this "invitation." Of course I don't click on it in any way, I ignore it.

So I would like to stress, and remind, everyone, to keep this in mind, and not be fooled by these virus making pieces of shite. Use another means if you all want to download stuff from eachother, better safe than sorry you know?

I think it's time they got a virus-terminator-team (VTT) together on the net. It would make me feel alot safer. BTW, if anyone is looking for some GOOD security, get norton's, as far as I know it's the best out there. (does IW's need a VTT too??)

You are such an extremely brave woman: eye to eye with the incarnation of online evil and you didn't even so much as flinch or wince !
Sigh - and how much I envy this virus for its completely undeserved chance to get such a close-up look at truly supernal beauty ! (Always remember that is compulsive with me ... )

Thank you very much for providing us with this very important warning !

Ummm...what does the virus do if you DO d/l the 'pic'? I didn't know of this and that popped up when I was talking to Seph. last night. I didn't respond to the question, but it d/l'ed anyway. What do I do now? I was online for about an hour after that and nothing SEEMED to be wrong...now I wonder if I'm going to go home to a crashed computer.
