Ignorant People

If god is so perfect then why does he need us to worship him?, it seems like monsterous egotism on his part. And if you belive god is all powerful he could make us understand good without evil.

why do you say

"God needs us to worship him?"

are you a God? no
so can you tell that wether God needs worshiping? no

we worship him because he is so wonderful and loving

think about your father, or a role model
do they force you to love? no, you choose doing so because you love them for who they are

God has not forced me doing anything to him, and I am not a christian, yet, I believe his just, and love. so I pray to him for his blessing

My father created me and he loves me, but i dont worship him. THe whole idea that god loves us all is totaly unbelivable. What about all the people who would go to hell on the day of judgement and be torutured forever? and if he truly loved us he would look after us. but he does not beacuse he allows evil and pain and misery.

worship is just a greater amount of love and respect

I hope you are not mixing "fear" into worship, because none of the christians as I know of, fear the presence of their God

Again, you attempt to judge by human standards, that which is immensely removed from what we are! How do you figure what's going on in God's mind? LOL It's kind of like asking a prairie dog to judge your actions. LOL oh and no, I don't actually think God sees us a prairie dogs! Just a comparison for clarity's sake.

Christianity is imposing human standereds on a god. we refer to it as a he thats personification, if we cannot understand it we cannot comunicate with it. iF we cant figure out what god thinks how can we know what he wants us to do?

Dramnek,

Prayer and following his commandments are ways to get closer to God and to feel his presence. That is how we attempt our individual relationships with God. And using he ? LOL you have any other pronouns you care to use, feel free. I prefer He, but that's my personal preference based on my religious education.

People put too strong a word in the word worship. It also equates to love. You follow basic ideals of what the person you love set before you. In that fashion, you "worship". I do not ascribe to any one specific religion, but I do worship my GOD. I try to live my life the best that I can in goodness. If you ascribe to no one, then you are chaotic in nature. That's ok to be chaotic. No one says you HAVE to worship anyone. I tend to like loving a GOD though. It helps to make me think we are here for a reason of some kind. It also helps me to endure some really rough times.

so i take that I answered your questions since you no longer question me

I think we pretty much know what to do, because God had set some examples

we love
we care
we give compassion
we give sympathy
we respect
we tolerate
we trust

correct? are you saying "how do we know what to do" as in daily based actions? well, then sorry, God doesn't tell you that, and in a way, he does

you don't have to understand how God thinks, but these virtues are the guidence of God, you live by it. that means, we know what we do, even though we don't understand God's plan.

Well if you do disbelive in a god, you must accept that there is no meaning to life, some people cant accept that. I know some people who point blank refuse to accept that the universe simply exists because statisically unlikely things will at some point happen.
