Hey all,
I am having trouble dual-classing my human fighter to a mage. I have the 1.05 patch to IWD and my fighter has 18 intelligence and is level 3 but the 'dual class' button stays greyed out... Any ideas why? thanks Kristan |

I know that, in addition to meeting the requirements of the class you want to change to, there are also minimum requirements for the class you are in. For a Fighter I believe his STR and CON have to both be 17 or something... maybe it's 15. Check the manual for more specifics, but this is probably the issue.

You have to have at least a 15 in the prime req for the class you want to dual TO and you need a 17 or higher in the prime req for the class you're dualing FROM. That caused a couple of re-rolls for me early on, 'cause I forgot about that little detail!
