Hey, i just found my own P&P group at school! We haven't started anything yet, and I just got done rolling my character (he's an elven paladin), but I'm hoping we can get something done soon. I'm planning something, it's obvious... I bought a 10-foot pole just in case the opportunity presents itself for me to enter the Hilarious RP Moment Hall of Fame (too lazy to look up thread name). [img]smile.gif[/img] Anyways, I'm hoping to get back soon on how it's going! I have to learn some DM skills since I'm backup DM... we play at school even though we shouldn't have dice since they're associated with gambling... no matter, I'll just have our mage use his level 3 9 Lightning Bolt on people who try to stop us! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Sounds good, Seph! Just remember, you only need a few things to be a good DM:

1) You must be able to scare the $h!t out of the players whenever possible (i.e., you roll whatever, attack roll maybe or some such, and get an evil grin, give them few moments to think of all the horrible things that could possible happen, and then tell them they just scored a critical hit, either that or they fell on their own sword).

2) A little imagination to come up with adventures. If necessary, steal good ideas from other people.

3) If they start arguing with you, assert your power as a DM, and tell them that if they don't stop you're going to have a nice flock of Wyverns (no less than 25) or perhaps a few Beholders come and play with the party

Thanks for the advice Joneleth, but i dont think i'll need it... im not going to DM, just the backup.

but i'll pass it along to my DM, he's a good friend of mine.

If only England was a little bigger there might be a chance of people who'd even consider playing PnP DnD at my school.

When you all have like lvl 20 chars.......... teleport them to a personality in the dnd world (like Graz'zt or Orcus for example....) then say..... 3 2 1 KILL!

That's great to hear! I think that tomorrow i'm going to have to arrange some P&P with my freinds too [img]smile.gif[/img] heh, me and Red,BlueFLare would have met the last 2 weeks but He's been getting ready to, and well now is on, a CRUISE T_T

so he's out on the water... all dungeons and dragonless.. sippin coolaid and stuff while catchin some rays! *feels sorry for him*
