What the heck! I just got Shadowkeeper(tm) and there are spells like "The MDK2 Spell" and "Summon Cow". I cast the mdk2 spell and my game crashed. I restarted and cast summon cow. Everybody in the town died besides my party! I thought it was supposed to summon cows. Oh well. I only have SoA, not ToB, but from Shadowkeeper I got Nahal's Reckless Dweomer and it actually worked! I accidentally made a cow fall on top of Valygar ! It is cool. There many other strange spells, like Hell Bound Flame Breath, Rapture of the Father, and Silver Dragon Breath.

I have never been able to use the MDK2 spell without the game crashing... but the summon cow spell is funny... it drops a cow on the targets head

lol Glorfindel! I don't get to see the animation because I cast it onto the ground (like an area spell) and all of the commoners, beggars, and braindead people like that (hey always say the exact same thing every time you talk to them) explode into "foe-shaped chunky bits".

Another thing I don't get is the description for the MDK2 Spell. It is like, "It looks like it comes from a blue outhouse. It might be a summoning spell." lol

Blue outhouse?

Not everything in Shadowkeeper works. Some of these things were put in by Bioware programmers and never taken out. If you really want to find out how a spell works, try looking at it using Infinity Engine Editor Pro or Near Infinity.

The blue outhouse might be a reference to the TARDIS (from Doctor Who), which appeared in a random encounter in Fallout, I think perhaps the developers were planning a similar random encounter, but they excluded, from the shipped version, the character animations for Max, Doc and Kurt, and the actual scripting for the encounter, but the scroll item remained. If you check the appearance tab on Shadowkeeper it has entries in there for "Mdk2 Doctor, "Mdk2 Kurt" & "Mdk2 Max", although if you set your character to appear as any of these, the game crashes because it can't find the animations for them.

Everybody should be able to summon cow (ROFL). It's one of the "bad wishes" from the Limited Wish spell. IMHO, the Limited Wish spell is the reason why the Summon Cow "spell" exists in the game.
