He says the President will speak tonight and give an ultimatum to Saddam and his immediate cohorts to leave Iraq or face the serious consequences of 1441.

I think we've only got a couple days left... I don't like it but it looks like the trigger was pulled in the Azores and it's just going through the motions now. They've told the UN guys to leave Iraq, and I expect hostilities will commence within a day or two after that.

I think it's about time things get moving, the Iraq comflict has been dragging for so long, 12 years now? 15?, I just can't wait for it to end, one way or another.

Yes I'm relieved that some sort of deadline was finally issued.

The fatigue and morale of those US forces there probably are already starting to wear them down. Living in violent sandstorms day in and out just has to be harsh.

I'm surprised Wall Street is actually up today.

Well I for one am pleased that something finally seems to be happening, it's a shame that Saddam would not listen to reason but to be honest who actually expected him to... I am fed up of the constant threats and mulling over deadlines and it seems that we are finally going to be given the go ahead to attack. All I can say is good luck to the British and American forces that are about to go to war, make it a swift and decisive victory with minimum blood shed preferably.

Just out of curiosity has Australia sent any troops or military hardware atall?
And what about Spain, I know they have surported our stance on the war but have they sent any of their military?

Australia has sent men and equipment... quite a bit in fact. I'm not sure about Spain though.

Hesperex! Holy crap I have seen you around here in ages, welcome back

Things will get moving soon for sure now. I think the countrys that are supplying actuall military are America, Britian, Spain, Austrialia, Poland and maybe Portugal, I am not sure about them, and maybe Bulgaria, not sure about them either.

But alot of countrys tribute in one way or another, Hungray are going to set up training camps, The Czech Republic are going to help clean up chemicals or something like that. Alot of countrys are supporting the war.
