I was just trying to "use" one of my equipped items (pot. of heal.) after
a combat and the game crashed to desktop. It did this twice. Has this
happened to anyone and is there an updated patch? I don't know what patch,
if any, I have.

Farseer, to see if you have the latest patch look at the opening screen which allows you to Load Game, Start New Game, etc. In the upper right corner should be a v1.2.4 symbol if you have the latest version.

If you don't see that, go to www.wizardry.com to find links to places you can download the latest patch from.

I haven't seen what you are describing, so hopefully a patch will fix it.

Thanks, I'll check it.
What I did was go into the character menu, click on the use icon at the
bottom then clicked on the light healing potion in the characters inventory
(not the party inventory) the game crashed to desktop (twice).
Maybe some people could try this? If I used the item from the main screen
everything was fine.

Farseer, what you clicked should have worked. I used to have some crashes when I used the MAP function too often. I raised my mem to 256MB and haven't had them since then. And the delay in switching locales is about ten times reduced as well.

I have 192MB's now. Maybe a little more would help.
