Saw such beauty as well - beauty that is natural, and some that's man made.

However, you don't have to freak out everytime you pay to fill you truck because you're getting paid to do this right?! AND you're not using Aussie dollars. (Worthless pieces of s*** that they are )

Bah

Aw I'm being a bit harsh.... it's only compared to the pound and the USD that the AUD is not very good. It's o.k. against the Euro.

Yes...true... that is why working for a company is better than being an owner/operator - I don't have to pay for any of it...

And you are very right about the mind clearing aspect - it is my favorite way of dealing with problems.

Funny how we complain about gas prices being $2.00 a gallon when the rest of the world is paying well over quadruple that...

I do understand some of what you are talking about Charean & Yorick. I drive a tremendous amount for my job, tho in a limited area - all of north central Minnesota. Driving is one of my favorite parts of this job! Especially once the snow & ice leave. Give me a clear road and I'm off!! Yorick, you're right, very therapeutic.

You're right Charean about the gas prices too. Most U.S. citizens don't know how cheap gas truly is here. Even Canadians pay several dollars more per gallon, (actually they pay per LITRE) even considering the exchange rate.

I'll look forward to your postings on your adventures Charean!

Charean, good thing is, you will be able to meet many Ironworks guys, the U.S. ones and maybe the Canadian ones, during your travels !

We will create a Sojourner thread just for you.

Lucky people - I pay the oil for my car 7,50 FF (around 1 USD) per litre. But I don't complain : this is an incentive to make companies build cars that save oil, thus lowering the pollution level.
