Hmmm. I ping Yahoo.com and get 73-77ms, I ping www.yahoo.com and get 28-30ms. Anyone know why? Just wondered if there was a technical reason hehe.

I get 120 and 71 respectively...interesting. I'd imagine it takes longer, because it has to look up Yahoo's full web-address.

Yeah it has to autocomplete the entry and come up with the top site match.

Go to your start menu, click "run" then type "command" or "cmd" (without the quotes of course) then when you are in a command window, type "ping www.whateverwebsiteyouwanttoping.com" or the IP of the site nad then hit enter
