Romance question...(a standard advice asking thread)

Well, I need advice on Aerie's romance. I know enough to get her to ask me to sleep with her once. But I learned that it is better to decline her the first time. When should you accept, if at all? After that point I need advice as I always slept with her the first time and kinda ground to a halt after that.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

You don't get the opportunity in SoA. If you have ToB, then things change VERY quickly once you are in that game.

Now that I've finished up Jaheira's romance, I've come to find that each romance has a "do you know this person?" point, where the game is pretty much testing your knowledge on what you know about the character and can make or break the romance depending on what the PC says.

So, what do you know about Aerie? She whines a lot. She thinks the PC doesn't understand her past trauma or her current situation. Her naivete is only surpassed by her aim to please.

Give her the courage to spread her wings and fly, so to speak.

Don't sleep with Aerie. She doesn't know what she wants, and she only wants to sleep with the PC because she thinks that's what he wants. Prove to her that's not what you're all about and that's not why you care about her, and you'll have a happy romance. Even more so if you install ToB and play the romance through that.

Cool, I installed ToB but gonna complete SoA first. So, refuse all the time to sleep with her then? That's cool, cos I don't want her to run off, she is a decent NPC and I like her. [img]smile.gif[/img] One of my favourite characters. Anyways, thank you for all the input.

Oh, and the romance kinda stops if you sleep with the drow. Totally.

Though a tad off topic but in the same category. As far as the romance with Jaheira, choosing not to sleep with her, does this affect future discussions in ToB or the direction of the romance? My curiosity gets the better of me. Spoilers welcomed, of course.
