I'm trying to find the no-cd crack for the GOTY edition of Morrowind (patched to 1.03). I can find the 1.0 version, but not the later version.

Can anyone direct me specifically to the version I need? Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Michael

Try Megagames. The site is experiencing some problem at the moment.

It is not illegal if you own the original copy. Reasons because:

1. Some people would prefer to keep their CD in a safe place and in "mint" condition. Old tiles are hard to find or replace, if you damaged the CD.

2. Most games (for example, Morrowind) tends to loads slower because the software tried to detect the CD in the tray first before running it.

3. If you have multiple games installed onto your hard drive, if would be a hassle if you were to swap CDs everytime you want to play different games.

4. Some people prefer to play thier own music CD while playing their favorite game.

And many more.

Eyup it is not illegal. also some game cds may not run on certain cdroms. thus you'll need a no cd crack.

While the legality is somewhat vague, the rules pretty clearly say that no-cd cracks are allowed, specificaly for the reason that Kakero mentions, some copy protections are just broke.
