I am starting up a non-good party. Edwin, Viconia and Korgan are no-brainers. I myself am a CN assassin. What I really need is another fighter-type and I am sick of Jaheira from my last time through. How do Minsc and/or Valygar get along with low rep parties and the above Evil NPCs? Is it possible to get Valygar, Minsc or Keldorn into Fallen status?
Thanks... |

Minsc will NOT get along with Edwin and generally speaking, good NPCs are unhappy in an evil party and might even leave your party. I have no idea why you're fed up with Jaheira but my advice is: KEEP HER!! She's a great tank/healer/mage disabler (two words: creeping doom another two: insect plague).
There simply aren't enough evil NPCs to fill up your party so you'll have to settle for neutrals instead. My ideal party for an evil player character would be: You Korgan Viconia Edwin Jan Jaheira If you really want to lose jaheira, the other neutrals in the game are Yoshimo Haerdelis Cernd ------------------ Melusine Your voice is ambrosia [This message has been edited by Melusine (edited 03-15-2001).] |

Welcome to the Board!!!
Stay away from Keldorn!!! I had a mixed group, but mostly good, then I added Viconia, and Keldorn tried to kill her like 15 times. I kept having to re load a saved game. Why don't you like Jaheira. I think she is much improved in BGII and the Druid spells at higher level are great. Nothing like summoning 3 or 4 fire elementals. ------------------ Tremble and despair, for I am power! I really hate playing evil! Done it a couple of time In Might&Magic games to get the quests, but VERY uncomfortable. Guess I'm just too angelic. Sigh!

No-brainer means an obvious choice. Sorry for the slang!
I find Jaheria rather annoying and not that good. I would classify her as average. I used her last time through as a good party so I would like to try someone new. Looks like Haer Dalis might be best option for me. No one really responded if it was possible to get one of the NPC rangers or Paladin to become Fallen - anyone know? |

I don't want to steal the thread, or make an ass out of myself because you are being sarcastic, but no brainer is something that is easy to the point of being able to do it without thought. Example- Looking both ways before crossing the street is a "no brainer".

Jaheira annoying?
I could see Jaheira possibly being seen as annoying, except for the fact that I went through AAERIE!! If I heard "faster then chitika fastpaws" one more time, I was going go crazy and start killing puppies. ------------------ Tremble and despair, for I am power! Thanks for the explanation - don't worry about using slang - I've used loads of colloquial phrases in posts - sometimes people understand, other times they don't, if in doubt I'm sure anyone who's confused will ask.
Different phrases, cultures & ways of using language all add extra flavour to this place, one of the reasons I come here. I have learnt a new phrase today, and I will use it to create confusion at work tomorrow ------------------ Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so. |
