By midlevel I mean 18/15(i believe my fighter thief is that level) I decided to duel my level 20 mage against this guy, thief already had that throwing dagger you get from the end of the game that returns to your hand. So I stoneskinned my mage, blurred, mirror imaged, thief did nothing but throw daggers. I expect my mage to walk all over the thief. Results. ANY and EVERY spell that had a saving throw, except magic missile, the thief evaded. and is it just me or is otilukes freezing sphere the best single target damage spell in the game? there should be an upgrade at level 8 otilukes burning globe.(if anyone creates spells for the game heres an idea!
