Gah... I'm trying to figure out how to, in turn-based mode, to show the number of action points a character must use to travel a certain distance. I can't remember how I did it in my other computer.
Oh, and why do my stats change suddenly to Agility -2 and Luck -3 a couple of times? Is this the bad part of taking the Voodoo drug? [ 07-14-2004, 10:53 AM: Message edited by: Assassin ]

It has been a long time since I played FT:BOS but I do remember that healing powder does lower PE by 2 for the duration of 24 hours.
Check the status too see if your character is affected by radiation or crippled. Maybe some odd random encounter does that too but like I said, it has been a long time since I last played the game and I can't recall much about random encounter in FT:BOS except the four horsemen of apocalypse that seems to jumble up the party members positions. All drugs and most food temporarily alter your stats, I recomend you wait for stimpack or healing kit and such.

No. I'm talking about the Voodoo thing that I got in the beginning. Is the stat loss usually temporary?

Yes, all stat loss are usually temporary. If it shows up in the perk/traits window, that means the changes are permanent.
The only thing to do is to roam the waste for a few days and check your stats again. This is not much of a problem for Fallout 1/ Fallout 2 because you could always access the Pip Boy to sleep over the negative effects but the "rest" option have been left out in FT:BOS. Thanks. Another questions: how do you, in turn-based mode, show the number of action points a character must use to travel a certain distance? I can't remember how I did it before.

In Fallout 1 or 2, you just have to move the mouse pointer to the desired location and the number of APs need to travel there will be shown. Don't remember if it was the same with FT:BOS. Otherwise you might want to play around with the "option" setting.

Yes, the same version, though one of them (the one that works) is with Windows Me, while the one that doesn't is using Windows XP.
