Has anybody except me ever use it? It's so cool. It brought my fighter's armor class to -30! I think the automatic Agannazer's scorcher and Magic missile attack is cool also. The only thing is that I can't climb most of the ladders.

Exactly how did you get this big metal unit? You're supposed to have the three pairs of pantaloons, and they take all your stuff when you transfer to baldur's gate II. I'm not calling you a cheater, (Nothing wrong with it when you've beaten the game, or just want a little fun.) Just tell me how you got it.

Well, I cheated. I already beaten the game without cheats, so I just wanted to know what's the Big Metal Unit and I liked it.

the gold pants are legit.

there are a few items, like the gold pants & the claw of kazgaroth that if an imported char has them in inventory (from bg1) these items will be hidden in jono's dungeon.

the pants will be behind the picture w/ the dagger & healing potions.

I don't care that you cheated Seid. If you've beaten the game already, it's fine and fun by my book. Yeah you can get it fairly but you have to play through all 3 games to do so. From BG to BgII to TOB. You get the gold pantaloons from the noble in that one inn in BGI. (Can't remember name.) The silver pantaloons are gained by taking the evil path in the Buried alive quest. (You know the one where you go find the guy in the red clothes?) To get the bronze pantaloons restore some petrified adventurers. Let them do your dirty work, and viola bronze pantaloons. Take them to the gnome in the town where Balthazar is. (Okay so i'm not good with names.) and he'll make the big metal unit. That's a lot of work when you can just cheat for it isn't it?

That's right. And anyway, I don't have BG1.

I had BG1, but if I remember rightly, getting the pants was a tricky business, rather cruel really, I mean I left them behind, who would have figured they would be integral to the toughest armour in the game?
