okay, i finally graduated from win2000 to upgrading my computer for Windows XP. So far so good with no problems. I still havent installed the patch though.
Now, people who use WinXP, can you tell me what i need to do to protect myself? Like those configurations i need to turn off which xp seems to put on by default which can be exploited by hackers. oh yeah.. hi once again!! i was off for a month break back in the Philippines. I saw some changes here and there. i notice a new face here and there as well .

I think you've done your homework yourself.
Keep XP up to date and you'll be fine. The SP2 Firewall seems to work well, so throw in a good AV app and some some spyware apps and you're good to go.

Well, I use a semiautomatic weapon, and a pair of brass knuckles when I feel the need to just get in there and take care of things myself.
