..... then why not a god? I mean, come on:
SPOILERS . . . .. . . . . . . . .is that guy immune to everything? Working with my best party here, and Iyachtu (sp) Xvim: is he annoying or what? I mean, you get a few earth elementals and a cournagon or two for the demons he has, but I can't get him past barely injured before my lot are falling like flies. "Electicity" I was told. yeah, I got all I could, and I did more damage to the abyss with a spoon! I reloaded more times than with Chahopek, and THAT was hard. have you guys got any tips for a godslayer in despair? because I am so pooped right now. And how can I bust Isair and Madae without doing this because of those respawning demons. Any tips would be very welcome. DS |

The best weapons to use against him are +3 (or better) blunt weapons. The best spell is lance of disruption, which also does blunt damage. Yes, he is a tough fight, and yes, you do really want that pool of radiance cleaned up before you take on the twins. Keep at it, and good luck!
P.S. Of course, you also want to be buffed to the max, but I'm guessing you are already. |

You could lower the difficulty if you have too much trouble with the fight.

Slapping a couple lower resistance spells on Xvim may help too. And then pepper him with Finger of death spells and disintigrate. The good thing about these two spells is that they can be used by two different classes. The cleric for the first and the mage for the second. I beat him in about 20 seconds with this. Of course i had my summons allready cast to keep the demons busy. Xvim went after my summons aswell. I put two lower resistance on him. He fired off a spell that STUNNED HIS OWN MINIONS. Then Disintigrate and finger of death (not to sure wich one killed him exactly) and he fell. His minions were easy targets after that considering they were all still stunned.

That's one nasty pasty!
So are those numbers percentages or straight numbers... as in is it 5% damage reduced, or first 5 points of damage ignored?
