If you have TOTSC installed, you'll find Douglas Tower...I hate that place, and I simply didn't play any mission in it..I used it only for making money sleepeng, weaking up, finding some sort of monster, killing the monster, and taking all his money!
What do you think of it?

I enjoyed the tower, it was a very challenging addition to a great game. I usually do the upper levels fairly early, and save the lower levels for later. A lot of great things to be found in the lower levels.

I agree with Pritchke the tower is a very good add on to the game and i love the floor with the ward where you solve the riddles. It is very clever. Infact id say the tower is one of the best if not the best thing about the game!

i would also agree....i also did the upper levels early for the XP and came back later for the lower levels. it is a very interesting place with some tough fights, a lot of XP, and some very useful treasures. I would think if you hated Durlag's then you were probably to low in level to do it and you got really frustrated. if that's the case then just wait till later and come back and do it when you are more experienced.
