Re: The City
Gosh, I don't know if that will work or not. I didn't say it wouldn't be a lot of work, but if a designer were truly motivated, it could be done. I think I'm too lazy to do the wall thing - unless I limited it to some trees, or other limited, stand alone items.

Re: The City
I think that would probably be enough. The major problem is certainly that the backgrounds cannot be changed - or can they?

Re: The City
We cannot edit backdrops (or doors or overlays) the way we can walls and blockage.
But, I looked at the code, and I think "I" might be able to add them. They ($Wall, $Block) are basically in the same format and it's one which I can understand. These tools with the talk.bin have given me an idea how to do this at the zone level. I've also come close to figuring out how to add in-game changes to the frame set. Close... |

Re: The City
Even If you only got one of these things to work, that would be really excellent!

Re: The City
Not only would it be excellent, it would be truly amazing.
My main goal is to not break DC. |

Re: The City
The City site is back up and slightly modified yet again.
I have now moved into Ward I. So, expect new updates soon. Remember, we are now discussing this project here and in a private forum on my site where we can list all the specifics, art, etc. To view the private forum, you need to register in my forums as which point I will give you permission to view the forum. Jadefang and Uatu already have access. http://www.skybakcone.com/forums/index.php |
