I just have a question about the puzzle room near the beginning, where you have to place items into those statues.

I figured out by a process of elimination that the statue with the description 'Name me and so shall you break me' takes the clay figuring of the gagged man, but I just don't 'get it'.

I presume that not being able to speak means he can't name himself or something, but why on earth would he be broken if you spoke his name?

This particular one has always been a mystery to me...

Or you could take the whole jynxing game as an example. If you jynx someone, they can't talk, and if they do, you hit them.

To break a jynx, you have to say the person's name...that's how I thought of it. Took me a while to get it too.
