First try deleting the contents of the cache folder and replay. If that doesn't work, follow the lead of Iron_spike. Back up your override folder and then delete the contents of it. After you get, past chapter six, just keep playing. If the game crashes in the end game, try putting the override folder back in and replay. Save your game FREQUENTLY after chapter six!!! Just in case.

hey it worked when i got rid of the "Override" files.... guess there is something in there that fouls it up somehow.....
it didn't work when i merely deleted my "Cache" files. thanks for your crucial assistance. :-D however, i am still getting carved up like deli pastrami in the final battle. and i do have a severe problem with my Diablo II, but i take it that's a taboo topic here....... ha ha ha ha.... thanks again. -H/M- |

why isnt each forum split into 2.
the first being glitches and other messups and the second being just chatting or asking for tips and spoilers because it would make it a lot easier to find posts about these problems |

Don't know for sure, Iron Spike. Here are some guesses though: First of all, it would double the number of forums and stretch the mods pretty thin. Second, if posters would more clearly identify unsolicited spoiler info, or requests for help, it would be easier for people who CAN or are willing to help to identify those threads. Last, the overall post level, at least in THIS forum, isn't so heavy that it requires a second separate forum just for troubleshooting requests - unlike some other message boards.
