The first patch was 1.18, and this is the second one , version 1.19. Here are the details...

*Creatures will now use their spell-like abilities again
*Bards will no longer become illegal characters
*Sort Community Names alphabetically in chat
*Neverwinter Nights now works with DirectX debug DLLs
*Added a Tech Support chat area

Well I downloaded the first patch, so far no problems. Hmmm, what does that first patch description mean? *Creatures will now use their spell-like abilities again*
Which creatures? Enemy creatures or familiar creatures or summoned creatures?

Ignore it. It means nothing. Earlier today, I went to my update button and hit hit again, for the second time, and it downloaded the second patch, as it did the first. As far as what it means...I know not. If I find out, I will post it in an edit, here...


Edit: This is what I found in my directory file.

Neverwinter Nights v1.19 English.

Patch details:

- Creatures will now use their spell-like abilities again.
- Bards will no longer become illegal characters when changing modules after leveling up and removing spells.
- The chat client now ignores all non-existing '/' commands.
- Fixed the 'Bad Strref' GameSpy connection message.
- The game now sorts Community Names alphabetically in the chat portion of the Server Browser area.
- Made Neverwinter Nights work with DirectX debug DLLs.
- Added a Tech Support chat area in the Server Browser area.
- Fixed an issue with save game characters and moving between single and multiplayer.

ladyzekke it means creatures such as enemies yea, but also your familiars and animal companions will use their special powers now too

I had an issue with my hell hound familiar not using his breath weapon unless i possessed him and force him to use it, now he does it automatically.
