Hello all. I am Dresdan a human fighter that is new to online gaming and, well pretty much everything else computer related. I love RPGs and have just finished BGII. I would like to join an online game but I do not know how. Can I import a character, or do I have to generate a new one? And how do I do either? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest that you find a couple of friends and play with them instead of using mplayer. Since most of them there are cheaters and that is just no fun.
To answer your question, yes you can export your character and play with it in a multiplayer game

Yeah you could also try GameSpy Arcade but there are a lot of power duelers there too. Also, not that many ppl play mplayer BG2 any more compared to when it came out. So you're better off playing by IP with friends.
